Environmental Advisory Council

The Environmental Advisory Council has been the Government’s advisory body on environmental matters since 1968. The composition and tasks of the Council have varied over time. One important task has been to give the Government advice on topical questions or future issues related to the environment.

The Government remodelled the Environmental Advisory Council so that in 2007 it consisted of a Scientific Council on Climate Issues and the Climate Committee. For more information about the Scientific Council on Climate Issues and the Climate Committee, please see "Former activities".

The Delegation for Sustainable Cities - a national arena for sustainable urban development
